Network marketing (also known as multi-level marketing) gives the business owner a way to share his vision and dream for his company, as well as promote products, to interested individuals.  Once others catch the dream, they will want to share the vision as well.  This is what network marketing is all about.

A prime example of network marketing that has been around for over fifty years is the company we have all heard of called Amway.  It is now the largest business of its type in the world.  What a success story!  Network marketing works!  Here’s how.  At first, a person may be only interested in seeing a catalogue of available products.   Then they may decide to take a chance and place an order.  Once they’ve tried the product they purchased, they may decide they really like it and want to order other things as well.   If they see that they are conveniently buying quality at a reduced cost, they will begin telling friends and family about their purchases.

Word of mouth as well as viral internet marketing (spreading word through the internet) is how network marketing becomes an amazing success.   Then perhaps they will want to take it a step further and actually become part of the marketing team.  The truth is, most consumers make their purchases from a trusted source.  And just think!  You can become part of that trusted source!

Before joining a team to become a network marketer (network marketers are also sometimes called associates, dealers or consultants) investigate the potential that is available to you for earning money.  How far does the downline extend?  In other words, be sure you are investing your time and energy in a reputable network marketing company that pays you a percentage of the sales of the things sold by those you have signed up under you.  Believe in the company or business and their products, and be ready to share that information with anyone who asks.

Your enthusiasm about what you are doing will spread to others and become contagious.  You’ll be surprised at the opportunities that become available to share your network marketing information once you have your eyes open to the possibilities.  Remember, we only have one chance at life so be sure you fill your days with the earned freedom and wealth that go hand in hand with network marketing.

Anyone who dreams of having a home based business can be a successful network marketer if they are willing to learn how to use internet marketing strategies and not be afraid to keep trying new avenues to promote their business or product.  It’s an exciting adventure!  However, one note to the wise…please do research ahead of time and start your network marketing internet business before quitting your full time job.  You’ll need a way to pay your bills and put food on your table while your marketing business takes off.

Once your business venture is off and running, becoming an online network marketer will allow you to work from your home office, giving you freedom and way to earn income.  This is where the fun begins but also where the challenge starts.  You no longer have a “boss” to keep you motivated to reach goals.  You no longer bring home a steady paycheck.  You must wake up each day with a strong sense of purpose and a heavy dose of determination.

Internet companies that promote network marketing look for people who are interested in their business or product.  When these independent people decide to help sell for the company, they are then thought of as marketers.  Many of the unnecessary steps to distribute a company’s products are bypassed and the distribution process in network marketing is shortened.
